You have to protect against militant liberals who have no jobs and are just online activists. They hide in discord and organize "raids" to try and take over communities so they can turn them into left wing hellholes. You are making the assumption everyone who comes here and creates an account wants to participate and contribute to the community and thinks like you do. There are a lot of people who would love to destroy what they view as a "vile far right hate speech platform" and they want to take this place off the internet or turn it into a liberal censorship hellhole.
