Why do people not like the introductions? I don't see anything wrong with it.
People that actually want to participate here don't have any problem with them.
The ones complaining are those who just want to sit in the background and wait for something. You'll notice a lot of them seem to be accounts that are quite old, it's suspected that they're sleepers that are quietly aging so they can jump in when something spicy happens - like an election year.
Poal, however, doesn't really use age of an account to allow posting (Reddit does this on some subs) but instead, how much you've actually participated as evidenced by the score of the account. Just post some good stuff and you'll be fine.
Can we ban the accounts or somehow limit their activity or ability to post as much when they are not active for a long time?
That's what the introduction and NSFW limits do, in a way.
