I tend to go for galas, I like them. Tasty, dependable, all the things an apple should be. She says this other variety was cheaper, asks how I feel about red delicious. Blank stare, please be joking… the apple I despise. Sure it’s red, but delicious? I beg to differ. Oh well, I’ll survive.

Cortlands for pies, fuji or galas for eating, delicious for fruit baskets to give to people I don't like....

I was waiting for someone to say cortland or macouns for pie. Red delicious is for peasants.
