I am taking a work related anti bribery course, and it is done by a third party . It's super slow with videos and people reading the course text and example conversations.

One thing I have noticed is that all of the corrupt bad guys sound like white men, while the voice of reason or concern come from female Indian (dot), Pakis, or blacks.

Shit, you said haggling, and as I go to Mexico all the time, and in the 80's it was super common to settle your bullshit traffic ticket (DWA) right there on the side of the road so the cop could buy his booze later. So I've bribed Mexicans too.

I have to say since they cleaned up the corruption down there, it's nice. Almost like being a Biden where you can do no wrong in the "hassle free" zones.

Yeah, I was driving a scooter in Goa. Probably shouldn't have driven through the capitol. Got pulled over for being white. Definitely didn't have an international driver's license. Or even an American driver's license. And I was drunk.

If I had to drive anywhere withing 1000 miles of there, I'd need to be drunk.

Scariest place I've driven was Fuzhou . Nothing like playing chicken with a bus on a one lane wide 2 way street .
