The drivers start at like 10 in the morning so its not like they really work late, and fuck the vacation time they get.
Those dark brown trucks unairconditioned trucks are rolling heat strokes in the high-humidity 100-degree summers of the SE U.S., and no better in the winter. They roll into the evenings until the last packages are delivered. The drivers are pushed for speed but fired if in an accident.
I wouldn't do it for $45 an hour.
