Those rhinoliner floor mats sure do hold a lot of water.

If you leave the window open, is your vehicle not a new home for bugs when you get back?

No, no trash inside of the truck to attract bugs. About all we have here are mosquitos and black flies in quantity. I do occasionally find a cat in there, she likes to curl up and nap in the back seat if I leave a side window or the split rear window open. Usually she jumps out and takes off as soon as I open the door.

The mosquitoes are enough of a problem, especially with Bill Gates releasing his GMO mosquitoes. Get command start installed and you can leave the console set for a/c and use the remote to start your car a few minutes before you leave so you enter a nice cool vehicle (or warm in the winter). As an added bonus, it will piss off liberals.

I'm about 1600 miles from Gate's mosquito release in Florida, so not too concerned they are here yet. I'm 60+, lived in this area all my life, have my routines to deal with the climate. The only time the mosquitos want to get into my vehicle is if I'm in it, parked in an area of mosquitos with the windows down. At the moment the AC is not working, has not been a big issue for me though I did pick up a new condenser and compressor to install last year, just haven't got "around to it" yet. The idea of a remote start never really appealed to me, though a couple of past girlfriends and an ex-wife thought remote start was great. I'm fine with driving around with the windows down when it's hot outside. Usually the daytime high summer temps are in the 80s here. Very seldom do we ever see 100F.

Hmmm. Maybe I should give this some more thought. Loll!
