A lot of links are archive.is which doesn't load for my region. I have to use archive.ph. If you replace .is, .li, .fo, .ph, .vn or .md with .today the link will automatically redirect to the correct site for anyone that clicks on it. Or, now that you know, you can be a retard and continue posting links that only half the board can read.

archive.today - is a gateway that redirects to one of the final destinations (.is, .li, .fo, .ph, .vn and .md) based on load and availability. It provides archive.today flexibility to dynamically redirect traffic to other domains/servers.

Or, the simple solution, is to do it the way lurker17 and quite a few others do. Post a link to the unarchived site and then in the body of the post put the archive link. Or the other way around, it doesn't matter. Just put both links. It's pretty simple.

I already do that as well. But that doesn't solve it. I would rather use the archive link than the source link. And if you have time to post two link you would have time to replace .is, .ph, etc. with .today.
