Get a browser extension like Redirector
Set it up to convert archive.* links to archive.today
That way you will be able to open archive links just by clicking on them (regardless of the TLD)

If I type in archive.today in the url, I immediately get redirected to the archive.ph page where I would enter the url of the page to be archived.
I started using the Wayback Machine - web.archive.org/ ... a couple of months ago and find that it works great, has no queue, is much faster than archive.ph, et al. Do you have any problems loading web.archive.org archived pages?
You don't understand, you do as usual, but when you do your link copy pasta on poal, you replace .is by .today and that's it

That's how it is supposed to work. When you post the link to Poal you would replace archive.ph/wHatEver with archive.today/wHatEver. And anyone who clicks on that link would get redirected to the proper link (.is, .ph, md, etc...), based on server load and the users region.
I understand now. Thanks. I prefer web.archive.org, great uptime, much faster processing and doesn't require this extra step to edit the end url.

I hate extra steps when making posts. I will solve this tomorrow because I also hate extra steps to view posts.
I have archive.today as the bookmarked page and it picks from two or three of the redirects. Usually .ph or .is for me.

I get .ph or .md, .is never loads for me
Use the normal site to archive and the replace archive.ph/wHatEver with archive.today/wHatEver when you share it on Poal. It will redirect users to the correct domain.

OK, now I see the point. Got it!
Or, the simple solution, is to do it the way lurker17 and quite a few others do. Post a link to the unarchived site and then in the body of the post put the archive link. Or the other way around, it doesn't matter. Just put both links. It's pretty simple.
I already do that as well. But that doesn't solve it. I would rather use the archive link than the source link. And if you have time to post two link you would have time to replace .is, .ph, etc. with .today.
