They didnt know if i should be in adult or child therapy since i was youngish. So I went to kids therapy. Regret that by itself since the room was clearly suitable for anyone under 9yo and i was in the middle of being a teenager. The therapist was morbidly obese and repeated the same stories and life lessons every session, asked the same questions. She was always sipping a pepsi. After falling asleep on me several times she brought me a cheap, crappy gift that was an insult to my interest she was trying to compliment.
I thought it was some kind of test but there seemed to be no end to the cycle so i told the office lady about it and she looked mortified and shortly after we were transferred to an adult therapist. I only saw him a couple times but in that time he thought there was a chance i was slightly autistic or had Aspergers.
but I'm slightly articulate and love to socialize. those sessions messed me up more than being isolated on narcissist island
