No....NO. Female here, do not ask again. The reason you didn't get "I have a bf" is because she doesn't want you to ever think you have a chance when she is single, either. Please don't continue to make her uncomfortable. I have customers that do this to me and it's irritating.
I honestly was thinking the same thing. If she was interested in the slightest it wouldn't have been a hard no. Even if it's not the answer you wanted, just take the answer for what it is. "No."
lert me offer you a longer description. go in sunday afternoon. 1 customer an hour. she hops to the till and says "hiya, what'll it be today." does she know i buy shit just to see her? or go to the store when i know shes working? if made a little small talk and been attentive. I do need a bunch of random shit and ask her about the first item. she looks disappointed. she was bored and wanted to have a conversation but i went straight to work and treated her like an employee. i should value her over my job im guessing and give her prime attention. i gather my shit and she starts to ring me up. i ask about some warehouse stock prices. and she makes a comment about working so that i can leave and get back to work quickly. i may have hurt her feelings. and she says "will that be everything?" I say, "It's susan right?" "yea?" "Could I take you out for a drink sometime?" 1,2,3 "no thank you", "no worries Thank you." it would be easier to tell myself i was delusional but the attention is enough.
I enjoy talking to customers, doesn't mean I want to date them. Don't hit on retail employees.
