I'm in shock still. He was playing soccer with me and his grandkids. He was 56. I'm still lost for words. So well i sat here with my Mom, she asked me to play this song:

None of us have been vaccinated. Apparently it was a heart attack from over exertion competing with us during a fun game.

It's ironic because we were laughing at the idiots on that submersible and having a beer, I just got a message he is dead.

Most people get too comfortable that they seem to forget we’re only here temporarily, and get in shock when someone close passes away. That’s why we should cherish every moment we share with our loved ones.

You should write a poem to honor him.

Sorry for your loss.

Like a firefly, in the night sky A withering flame, a candle Lights the table for fame The brightest light.

A wishful star, a contemptuous light A final bite and a final, granduous sight Of all the things lost, all the things right The final fight.

Now we stand here, on the cliffside Where will we abide? Any doubts, I lied. Follow me to the riverside, it's easy to swim Can you see? Follow me.

Don't worry.

It's on a whim.

Thanks though.

the requiem

I woke up tired. Sleepy and itchy eyes.

Where were you? I saw you earlier in a field near home.

You were helping me gather the crops.

I wish you had told me your thoughts.

I sensed something was wrong but you already knew you were gone.

You were so brave and courageous you didn't say a thing.

I love you Dad. Thank you for being so strong and courageous...

Extreme and outrageous.

You taught me everything.

And then you disappeared into the night, with a beautiful song like a swan would sing.

As it passed into the evening light.

Still shining bright.
