You hear your whole life that life is short but it doesn't really sink in until you're over 30 and realize that lots of people die younger than 60.
Yep agreed. Saw some tedx talk or something - basically have a sheet of paper with 100 squares on it - each square represents a calendar year - cross off the corresponding amount for your age - at best bet not counting on some serious medical issue/ automobile accident or similar tragedy. we can only hope for a hundred years - overwhelming majority will succumb before that - i did it and have already lived just a touch over half my life. Visually seeing it made it somehow more real how short life really is. As each successive year lived is another year closer to the end. All honesty prob have arounds 30 years or so tops left. Meh :-/
so the simple - enjoy the small things in every day, value personal relationships and family/ offspring, be sane, moral sober with a clean conscience and attempt to remain happy regardless of how much clown world honks...
