It's ironic because we were laughing at the idiots on that submersible and having a beer, I just got a message he is dead.

I might be here spontaneously for a bit.. I find this a relaxing place so hopefully I won't be absent much.

Also I realized my Mom's a hippie or just reacting bizarrely.. She was with him for 32 years and she asked me to get her weed and booze. I declined since she never had acted this way and instead got us a bottle of Gran Marnier to relax and go over what needs to be done in this shock.

She's obviously in a state of mental shock and is asking for the "mind bending" substances she knows, to alter her state of mind

My condolences, when my dad passed a few years ago I "inherited" his stash of weed. Other family gave me some too. It wasn't much but I went out at night once or twice a week catch a buzz and talk with the old fart. It was nice and it helped. I'm not advocating getting your mom high but depending on her personality it may not hurt either.

Again my condolences, it's going to hurt for a while, because it still does.
