Look into using this narrative: Over half a million White Christian males were killed during the American Civil War (here's the catch phrase) "to free the slaves." Works in correlation with the school system's curriculum. We the People are not educated as to the multiple reasons why the war was fought or the preexisting political arena leading up to it. Took me lots of books and years of looking into it to find out what really happened. My hot take is by the mid 1850s the general populace had been sufficiently brainwashed to say it was inevitable. Just from the view of the individual state's rights. Look how the first battle was, not only fought, but watched by spectators and you'll have a better understanding of what was really going on. Mass and endless propaganda leads to brainwashing, control and finally, manipulation. The general populace has no idea of this works, either. Look into the news of the day for a better understanding of this part.
