The reason they've allowed these types of services to hit the mainstream is not because they love you. It is alos not because "science has advanced." It is because they have developed sufficiently advanced tools to manipulate and engineer the public, and now they need millions and billions of people to help train those tools.

Don't be a sheep. Stop using these online services. If you're interested, check out something like PrivateGPT, or other offline solutions.

the concern isn't around chatgpt "manipulating" anyone. ChatGPT is, first and foremost, a data collection and human behavioral analytics platform. It is purposed with gathering all the datapoints necessary to train the various tools of manipulation, which access the public via established vectors (internet applications, smartphones, advertising, news media, etc.)

How long before it's used to be judge and jury? How long before it's used to determine your quality of life and contribution to society? How long before it's used to determine you're a drain on the social body and therefore can and should be eliminated, all usable organs and tissues harvested before elimination?
