Talking to a friend, I wondered aloud, "who started this shit?" Well... Plugged the question into a search engine and got this:

Herb Caen In October, 1980, the dozen or so erstwhile nuns held their first fundraiser, a bingo game and salsa dance that was well-attended in large part because of the write-up in The San Francisco Chronicle by Herb Caen the same day, who printed their organization name, the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence.

Gee, I wonder about that surname...

The distinguished surname Cahn is a proud sign of an ancient Jewish culture. The surname Cahn is an occupational surname for a priest, and it comes from the Hebrew word kohen. Traditionally, priests were considered to have been members of a hereditary caste, descended from Aaron, the brother of Moses.

Btw: The sisters of perpetual indulgence? It's a 501 (c) (3). In other words, a tax free money laundering scheme run by kikes.

Look it up for yourself if you want. I didn't want to link the search results, cuz idk if they're banned sites, is all.

So, Herb Caen mentioned them in one of his columns. Herb Caen was a writer: famously an old-time San Francisco resident with a well-read weekly column in the San Francisco Sunday Chronicle. Just because he mentioned this group in his column, and people read about it and went to their event, doesn't mean he was responsible for starting it. He wrote about a lot of different things that were going on in the city, every week. Yeah, maybe his surname could be Jewish. -- *yawn*
