(I read the other comments.) Time. People never really think about how much time it takes to get thru everything. And the more "everything" there is, the longer it all takes- Even with a will. Pretty sure a standard will can be had for about 500 or so dollars, just about everywhere in the states. Could probably even put one together in a few hours at the local library.
