I guess it really isn’t Ebonics but there is a commercial on the radio in the Houston area for a cigar store. The voice over is done by some hood rat who talks about how “smoove” the cigars are. I’m not sure who they are trying to attract but I know it’s not white guys like me.

This is exactly why I stopped listening to the radio. (TV & movies went out the window post 9/11.) Sometimes I do hear just that. It's down right sickening. Whites are mo longer the target audience. Shameful.
