Same here, always try to avoid them. I had raised a pet gray squirrel when I was a kid. They are cool! Rescued a baby red squirrel right after I got married. We named him "Junior". Hilarious little pets until they grow up at about 65 days old and have to go back into the wild.

I don’t try to hit animals, I try to hit various beverage containment apparatus. Squirrels are just nuts, always running under moving vehicles.

I do my best to avoid them, but I will choose my own or my family's life over theirs if I have to.

We go for drives for the sole purpose of saving turtles. Lot's of road turtles in the spring where I'm at. The kids love it. Especially when it's a big Snapper, but holy shit do they stink.
