I have a theory that condoms also mess with hormones. Lack of skin contact plus body preparing for (or causing) insemination but it doesn't occur.

No to the last part about "preparing for insemination..." because what if no condom is used, the male knows and the female is using a diaphragm? Effectively similar as long as it's just a physical blockage. The male knows but the body couldn't know and it would feel identical literally to condomless sex without a diaphragm.

The part about hormones could be true. Plastics are used as a means of introducing (((hormones))) into bodies. It doesn't seem impossible that latex or w/e other poly substance used is harmful.
