Start using certified mail and paying bills by check - bring it back, you can also set up digital payments through a checking account at the above mentioned CU which makes things even easier. You shouldn't be paying (((debt))) with (((credit debt))) anyway.

Of note: it's 100% legal to call for and even plan a bank run, it's "illegal" (it's not but whatever) to organize people to go to specific banks at specific times to drain those specific banks of money. That isn't what I'm doing. I am generally advocating for people to completely stop using banks.
