Street player, as in put your saxophone case down and collect some cash? If that's the case, did you note a different in how much money people tossed your way pre COVID/post COVID? Haven't been to the closest major city here often. Only go when I have to. Used to enjoy it, but that was years ago.
I don't actually open the case but people give money anyways.
I wasn't actually expecting to get any money on the first two times playing after 2 years on the street. But when I left off 2 years ago I pretty much made at least a $5-20 dollars each time I went out.
I actually got a $5 while packing up this time and was only out 20 minutes. That was pretty good for previous standards. Basically only one person was alive and they were a foreigner.
I've been saying this about COVID: Real or fake, masks help or not, fake or real deaths, the damage that COVID has done to the everyday American's psyche is going to take years to undo. The demoralization campaigns are wearing White men down. I hope you find the time to get to do the things you enjoy. And actually enjoy doing them
