We got a bunch of “street musicians” this year but in store parking lots. Everyone seemed to love it and they were making a ton until it hit social media that the violins all these people were playing were digital and they weren’t playing at all.
Then the cash dried up and they left.
The violinists who play here tend to be very good however the instrument doesn't naturally project like a saxophone and they don't do electric violins with an amp. So normally you don't hear them for much more than a short distance.
We could hear them for blocks all morning through evening.
I have no idea how they work but everyone on social media were claiming they were programmed with certain songs and were just pretending to play. Like those automated self playing pianos.
Not sure if violins like that are real but people stopped giving them money based on that fact.
