I quit cigarettes in one day after smoking for 17 years. I just didn't want to anymore. The only reason I didn't quit before was because I liked it. Same with other substances. Very easy to do when you decide you don't want it anymore.

That's crazy. I did the same thing about 5 years ago. I said, "I'm done". Haven't had a single urge or craving since that day.

Yea, i did the opposite, after i gave up for 10-15 years , i purposely restarted because i actually enjoy the whole process/ routine (??) around smoking a cigarette, although i never smoke until after midday and then only 2 or 3 cigarettes per day/ night. It's like a meditative/ relaxing thing - actually looking to purchase some quality Tabacco plants/ seeds and make a hydro set up to grow and cure my own without all the chemical additives/ poisons they soak commercial Tabacco in b4 they attempt to outright ban cigarettes, here in NZ in 2025 or something.

Yeah I liked smoking but I didn't like the smell, taste and especially what it did to my sinuses, throat and lungs. Always had congestion and my nose was stuffed. I could see my teeth starting to turn yellow, I used white strips a few times to fix it, but decided I didn't like all of that plus the money aspect. Also I got to a job in my life where no one I knew smoked anymore. There was no upside.

Truth bud you just have to want to quit. I'm at that point with 🚬 just can't stand the smell or taste just as I did with alcohol daily and ignorantly drank I will quit these to. It's funny I quit for a year and like a dumbass started again cause I missed it
