Doctors are trained by big pharma to push pills. I'm sure AI can do that. They also like pushing surgical procedures even if they're not necessary. They love to stay blissfully unaware of the cause of chronic health problems (mineral deficiencies in many cases), so they can give you pharma pills instead. Healthcare has also been socialized in the USA. Since so many people are paying with medicare and medicaid, the doctors have to do what the government requires them to do in order to continue receiving these government payments.
Doesn't change the fact that an unbiased AI can easily replace them and drastically improve global health of humans. To be clear, I don't disagree that AIs can be and are corrupted. But this is the juxtaposition with AIs and who they can effect versus (((AIs))) and who they target.
