I get my mp3s from youtube videos.
youtube com/watch?v=nigger -> yewtu be/watch?v=nigger -> hit play, wait 3 seconds -> right click, save as
:) Easier than stealing a bicycle. * if you don't hit play and wait a short bit, it will save as an html file and not just be an extension issue. I'm not sure why.

an old tutorial I did that uses a dedicated termux package. I might make a new one using the python method as it uses the latest yt-dlp which is compatible with shorts.
I live on yt-dlp. I cop everything worth archiving with it as well as whatever I can find valuable on jewtube. Can use in windows cmd line. Easy peasy.
Freetube, an adblocking standalone youtube player uses this for downloading, if I understand it correctly.
Been using it for years; it’s great. I got a lot of series off it for the kids when we cut the cord.
Just a heads up if you hadn’t seen it, you can get an entire playlist at a time.
