The person who write this is a bit of a loon. There always seem to be hyterical idiots eager to blow things our of proportion. Remember when Covid first started? It was going to have a death rate of 3%, or maybe 10% depending on which hysterical nanny you talked to. This chemical spill is the same song and dance all over, but to a different tune. It is a minor disaster that will quickly be cleaned up, and nobody is going to die from the gases that escaped from the rail cars.

Shockingly I'm inclined to agree. Maybe not too many deaths but I definitely think it's up there somewhere between 3 mile island and Chernobyl. This stuff causes a rare type of liver cancer that generally kills within 6 months, so I'd expect to see a lot more deaths around that time. It should be pretty obvious that eating anything from Ohio is a bad idea right now but I'm sure some idiots will so we'll be seeing some extra deaths from that a while later.

It is no where near the most prime farmland in the country. There is some farming buts not the huge operations you find in other states. Now natural gas wells on the other hand....
