In this modern world. Dont buy wen generators, they suck and fail. I have alot of battery backups. A laptop eats up to much power, I wish I had a tablet to watch a couple movies on. Which brings up a question, Im gonna buy one this weekend, windows or android? Does one or the other use more power?

I bought a tablet with mobile data and never really used it. Buy a deck of cards is my advice, but I do not watch movies often if at all.

It would never be connected to wifi, just for shit I downloaded for entertainment while the power is out.

Cheap ipad, crank generator, and a battery. You need to have the movies already downloaded.

Weird, I've got a Wen ultra quiet inverter generator. I love it. Super easy on gas and super quiet. Runs my RV, including AC like a charm. Been using it for about 3 years now, not a single problem.

I bought two. one small 1550 just for recharging stuff. Quit after 20 minutes. My other one was a yamaha knockoff.2200 I think. The pull cord stopped retracting. And yeah it may sound like an easy lawnmower fix but it aint. Especially when you need it. Both brand new.

Use open-source / Linux. Pine64 has some tablets available I think.

Samsung Android Tablet. Last time while camping my friends had a nice solar charging large battery bank. Holy shit kept it charged and charged other devices. Get one with service and you might still have service unless towers went down.
