Vaccines and antibiotics never once saved my life.

The fact that I never had to eat rotten food or drink shit-contaminated water have saved my life countless times.

Don't thank doctors. Thank your engineers.

So many scrapes and simple injuries and infections are fatal. You can die from an ingrown hair or toenail without antibiotics.

I don't know about that statement. I cut myself on probably 1/3 jobs I do. I've never had a serious infection from any of them.

Our immune system can fight off plenty.

But if you get a good hit from bacteria from whatever you cut yourself on, and don't use antiseptic, and then don't use antibiotics, you are dead.

Bacteria from the skin+bacteria from what you cut yourself on is a huge factor. Thus the soap which you mentioned earlier.

I still disagree.

I used to work at a summer camp next to a swamp.

We used to do an activity called "swamp mucking"

Take kids, go into the swamp, go into the muck pit.

Nobody ever got sick.

Our skin naturally cultivates good bacteria that helps us. Over-sanitation is actually detrimental to this. Always sanitize shit you use and wounds. But one can be quite dirty and fine.
