The really sad part is that they're too stupid to make the connection. Most of them probably don't even remember it isn't normal. That's something I've noticed recently, NPCs aren't just dumb and obedient, they can't remember more than a couple years back.

Took me almost a month to be able to book in my car for service. When I asked one guy how come it's so busy that I can't get a spot at any shop, he said it's not any busier than usual, but they only have 1/3 of the staff working since everyone is else is sick.

Same here. All sick. When they get their booster and flu shot they are out for a week immediately after.

On one call someone actually said to me 'you must be full up to date since you are never sick!' I just pretended I didn't hear it.

No one but my old boss knows I've refused all vaccines and was willing to be 'placed on a replacement list' rather than take any of the poisons. I got a religious exemption and a lawyer and am mysteriously never ill.

Maybe they just don’t want to work and they can get away with taking as many sick days as they want.

Workplaces used to have a limit to sick days. Now it’s “don’t come in and contaminate us.” Lazy people have most definitely figured this out and are taking full advantage.

To be fair now, we have a house of four. Two old fuckers (me and hubbs) and two teenagers. The children knock whatever they have out of the park usually in a day or two. My youngest didn't this last time. Whatever it was turned into a secondary infection of bronchitis.

My husband was sick for like 6 hours and I was ill for three days, but I have like 4 comorbidities.

So when you say folks are ill for weeks and I am over here, over weight, diabetic, asthmatic, out of shape, and just barely holding onto a decent diet...but killing it in three days...I gots questions.

My co-workers are constantly calling out sick. Betting that we'd be fully staffed for a full week would be a losing bet.

I was just commenting on another board how, after having Omicron back in December 2021, I haven't had a cold or the flu at all. I've never gone that long without a cold.

I’m no immunologist but there must be a societal component to individual health. Because I very rarely get sick but I’ve been sick two times in the past three months. And then subsequently got my wife and son sick. I theorized at the time that the vaxxed immune systems are so weak that they are spreading sickness to us purebloods more often than normal. Instead of their body fighting it off I am coming into contact with sickness more and more often. That’s my hypothesis anyway.
