Lots of eggs on the shelf $4 for a carton of 12 large. This wasn't walmart, so not the busiest store in town.

The prices didn't seem bad compared to what I've seen others say they were going for. I don't frequently eat eggs and I couldn't tell you what the normal price is.

I'm glad $4.00 isn't expensive for you, but the reason people are being driven mad is because eggs were always the go-to cheap source of protein when you can't afford meat.

I never said $4 for a carton wasn't expensive buddy.. didn't even imply that sentiment. Maybe you should try re-reading my post?

Trying to convince wife to try raising hens for eggs. Eggs are damn expensive now.

Chickens are fun, I like ducks more though. More fun, less pointy and quieter. Bigger eggs. Don’t be fooled though, while the eggs will be better if you let them roam a bit (way better) feed prices are high too I’ve heard.

My brother's family has ducks and chickens they seem to enjoy them except for the bears going after them. I like duck eggs too.
