Hi, my fellow Poalers; I just got back from my parents and I'm bored.
I don't post much on this site, but I lurk a lot; and by that I mean that I refresh /all/new and check all the posts until I reach were I was the last time. And since it is almost only bad news, I have to take a break from time to time.
Do I wish I was totally oblivious to what's happening in the world? Absolutely not. Especially with my parents getting pretty old, I am their only link to reality.
It's not easy because they are the only ones who listen to me (they don't really have a choice, haha), anybody else I talk to just brush it aside; it doesn't even enter their brain, it's automatically rejected; their conditioning is too strong.
For whatever reason, some years ago, I landed in 'The Great Awakening' on Reddit and I learned so much, it was incredible; all that information available but never on the MSM.
Then I had to migrate to Voat like many, where my quest for truth continue.
And on that fateful day, Voat shut down; so here I am, still looking for truth, good or bad.
Along the way, I've met some colourful people, to say the least, but I am thankful for that. I've never been a politically correct person so being called a kike nigger faggot doesn't offend me; on the contrary, I'm glad we still can talk freely here, and we must enjoy it while it lasts.
So, to make a long story short, the world is a big pile of shit, and I feel it's only gonna get shittier.
