Look up SLEP. Shelf Life Extension Program. They went as high as 91 months, but 50 was a better guess. 4 years is the general. Cyclines are tricky though.
Doxycycline won't last 7 years and could be dangerous. Better do your research. Why are you taking an antibiotic for a so called virus?
I only need two pills per strep throat and I statistically only need pills once per year.
Doxycycline is one of a few antibiotics that turns toxic when it expires. It doesn't just lose effectiveness.
Store it in a cool place without light and don't take it if it's way past its expiration. It would probably keep better in a mylar bag with an O2 absorber, but I would still go by the expiration.
