They got fucked at the MTV awards that year. They played sabotage live and rocked it. Then got snubbed in favor of fiona apple, criminal. That was turning point in the awareness of the electric jew, for me.

That's so odd because I totally remember complaining often about how terrible pop music was in the 90's, to where I mainly listened to classical and big band period music.
