Elon is definitely pushing the envelope on how much of a good guy a billionaire can / be allowed to be. I'm trying to think of all our options as individuals to take our current system and the Elon model seems to be the best that is possible right now. We are currently under a regime that FLAGRANTLY violates human rights, let alone the constitution, against ANYTHING that violates their power structure. ANYTHING. If you are making ANY significant impact against the regime, swaying voters to good candidates, getting election rigging methods overthrown, getting the word spread out in an actual mass way, building competing companies against them, IT. DOES. NOT. MATTER how in the legal right you are, you will be taken out. The ONLY approach I see is have a public identity and have something of a large enough stick behind your back. Once you're public, you have to have relations with other public figures. MOST of these are system compromised, and will expect you to be too if you want favorable light and to play within their public realm. I don't see a political solution anymore as the elections are pure secured rigged now. Only violence is really a solution there (as that's literally what politics / government is), and really the only route there is the military mutinys and forces unrigged elections. However there still is the Elon solution. Take over all the rest that entails a society / culture / economy / country.
