Hey everyone, We found out my wife has thyroid cancer. She is supposed to have surgery to remove the thyroid then after do radioactive iodine therapy. Anyone have family experience with this? Anything you recommend or anything to avoid? It's ironic that we have been trying to avoid all things with regard to modern medicine but now that this has happened, we are crawling back asking them for help. Stupid world... Also a little concerned about the rare possibility she will need to receive blood during the surgery and wanting to avoid her receiving tainted vaxxed blood.. A lot going on right now so we're still trying to take it all in.

So true. Wife is still in her 20s but this has definitely been a sobering experience for us. No one is guaranteed a long life, that's for sure. Appreciate you, bopper.

Wow, that's awfully young. Most thyroid cancers are curable according to google.

Yes optimistic that surgery will remove the cancer. Mostly concerned with the dependence on medication for the rest of her life that comes with having your thyroid removed. Honestly hoping there could be a way she didn't have to have it removed. Looking into alternatives, we will see. Thanks again

Yeah, bummer about the medication all her life, at that age.
