The difference is that voat has undergone multiple admin changes over it's lifetime. voat was/is backed by VC money. It also uses spyware dragnet services like cloudflare. Leadership disappearing and reappearing. Servers going up and down, unexplained. None of these things can be said about Poal.

Same admins from day one. No fed money. No ((( cloudflare ))).

The choice is ultimatley yours to make.
