I’m not saying this to support Tim Poole. So take that for what it is at face value. I find him irritating for like a million different reasons before this even happened.

But…

Has anyone here considered what’s really at stake for anyone who speaks publicly on this particular issue and doesn’t parrot the ADL talking points?

Look what Kanye is going through. The truth is that even with everything that’s happened to him, he’s got enough money to live comfortably for the rest of his life. I’m not saying he hasn’t sacrificed anything here. I’m saying that he certainly has, but HE’S ALSO GOT ENOUGH TO MAKE THE SACRIFICE AND STILL BE ABLE TO LIVE.

Same goes for Trump and Elon both. Even with all the opposition they have faced and are facing, they can also afford to take on the behemoth.

It seems there’s a trend: unless you’re a billionaire, you can’t get away with true free speech. And even then, you’re still going to take some losses financially if you actually exercise it.

How many of you would risk your livelihoods to say publicly - without the convenience of anonymity that this platform provides - the same sort of things that Kanye is saying? Serious question. Perhaps some of you have lost a job or something else important because of your stance. But even that pales in comparison to literally blackballing yourself for life.

Tim Poole isn’t a billionaire. Now, I doubt he agrees with Kanye in the first place. But the truth is that I don’t really know that for a fact, and neither do any of you. Even if he does agree with Kanye, do you really think he’s going to throw away everything he’s built over it? Because that’s precisely what would happen.

The vast majority of people who are saying similar things as Kanye also have a safety net of some sort in place. Something that the machine can’t touch. Do you blame them?

Why don’t any of you show up at your job and give a speech to the office saying what Kanye is saying? Clearly the vast majority here believe at least some variation of the same thing, no? And yet, I’d bet that none of you are going to do that. Why? Because you can’t afford what it would cost you.

That said, I also don’t think Tim Poole should have even booked Kanye if we wasn’t going to allow him to speak freely. That was fucking stupid and a waste of everyone’s time. Of course, his channel, and particularly that episode will get a shit ton of views, so he’ll definitely get money for it..and perhaps that was his motivation all along. Who knows. But either way, we’re still talking about a guy who would no doubt lose his livelihood because he’s not worth enough to afford that kind of free speech..just like 99% of other people, even if they agree with Kanye. That’s my main point.

Just last week, me and my boss got on the topic of Kanye and “the stuff he’s been saying.” My boss is a free speech loving, gun toting, anti woke libertarian. We talk about politics almost everyday, sharing memes and what not. But with that subject, I got fucking nervous, man. Very slowly and carefully, I discussed it with him while still being vigilant to protect myself because while I make good money, I can’t afford to lose my livelihood and be blackballed. I think he sensed this, so he broke the ice and kinda put his own dick on the proverbial chopping block first..once I knew it was safe, we had an open discussion and it went fine. But I was fucking sweating, dude. Because I know as well as all of you that free speech these days is dangerous to anyone who actually exercises it. I lucked out. I have a cool AF, intellectually honest boss. But most people don’t. And even at that, he and I keep sensitive conversations to ourselves because pretty much all of the other employees are retarded, woke females.

But I can guarantee that if my boss wasn’t who he is, I wouldn’t have been honest in my thoughts. Because I couldn’t afford to in that scenario. Most people can’t, is my point.

And this isn’t to say that I agree with any or all of you 100% as it pertains to this subject, or any other, for that matter. But I’m also not going to lose my livelihood for agreeing or disagreeing with any of you here about any particular subject. And THAT is how it should be in the world at large. But until it is, most of us have to contend with the reality as it actually is, and that includes people like Tim Poole.

Lastly, I’m disappointed in Kanye for walking out. If there was an argument to be had, he should have just had it. I mean, I’ve watched him argue with the media a hundred times in the last month..but he can’t argue with this guy? Why?

Pfft, then little kike slurping beanie boy should've just sacked up and said 'i personally can not talk to that', not talk circles with denial and refusal, then obfuscating and equivocating with bs group identity politics nonsense ...

Well, like I said he shouldn’t even have booked Kanye if he wasn’t ready to have the conversation. But that’s another issue entirely.

And ultimately, Kanye is the one who walked out. He shouldn’t have.

Nah, why sit there for three hours and listen to the circumcised goof continually shutting down the convo and denying the obvious truth with blatant sophistry and then after it has all ended still has the last say after your goon. Literally gaslighting. Like someone that agrees with you then as soon as you leave they like 'Man , that dude is so full of shit'.

Seems like tim & Kayne were not on the same page. Limits should have been established before they went live.

And that is why we are losing, because self and mine immediate is more important

That’s not the only reason. There’s also plenty of disagreement within the right wing on important issues where there shouldn’t be, they aren’t organized, they don’t operate as a unit like the left does. There’s LOTS of reasons. Hell, I’ve had to argue with members of my own family about whether or not Trump was the guy to vote for because “he tweets mean things” and “talks too much.” And these people are conservative.

As for the natural inclination towards self preservation that most people have, you can’t really expect to just ignore it. It’s a different thing to die in battle than to slowly starve and rot away.

Trump is an Israel humping faggot, voting is clearly fucked, and the US revolutionaries seemed to do just fine expecting people to ignore it.

Cool story bro. Why don’t you tell all of us why you’re here on an anon site instead of marching down the street or giving speeches at your job about what you apparently believe?

Hypocrite faggot.

you were talking about having a personal conversation with your boss not marching down the street or giving speeches

Brilliant comment.

I couldn't agree more with your analysis.
