Interviewed this morning for a gig at the Architect-level (new industry for me as well). It went very well, and I am stoked for the chance to evolve from the 'engineering' side of the house to a place where I can actually design solutions, document them, and have them implemented to secure the company and the industry. this is most certainly the next evolution career-wise.

Great day so far heading into the weekend, and I wanted to share.

Update: Just got notification they want to schedule me for the final round in two-parts (face-to-face with stakeholders) for next week and the week after. I suppose they're interested!

Recently got the offer for something at this level, told them to strike their mandatory vaxxmaxxed and boostermaxxed language from the contract and they refused.

It was a 100% remote position.

Damn, that blows. I haven't come across contracts still requiring it out-right but leaving in language to the effect that it may be required to be on-site at the customer.

I anticipate that part is coming; hoping it doesnt, but it's become such a talking point at offer time, I'm sure it will come up.

There were accommodations for religious and medical exemptions but I didn't feel like doing them, also felt like if I did that I'd end up being a pariah at work anyway lol.

Not a huge deal I still have a good position but it was obnoxious because it was a decent raise and title increase. But I don't want to work with vaxxtards at all.

This was about a week after a 20 year old guy at my current job died for no reason lmao.

My company specifically stating they aren't and won't be requiring the shot are a big reason I'm still working for them. It's not the best pay but I've heard too many vaxx horror stories to deal with trying find a company that's not insane about it.
