Wow, 31, so young. I am sorry for your loss.
I had an enforcer at one point in my life, when I was young in the military. I don't know what it was but if anyone messed with me at all my buddy Scott would light there ass up in a second. No, he wasn't gay or anything. Real mans man kind of guy, always had a good lookin woman. He just for some reason would be infuriated if anyone messed with me. I miss that guy, he was a great friend, I lost track of him when he went off to Korea and I ended up getting out.
This describes my friend to a T.
Would have added you but you were already.
You're a good one. Stay strong.
Thank you for this delightful tale and memorandum. RIP to our dead brethren.

He was my big brother. He'd make me fight people who messed with me and watch.
If I got a justified beating he'd be a ref, not intervene until he separated us. Then I got older..
He became my enforcer. He did everything on his own will. I bought him drinks and hung out with him because he helped me.
White men have no privilege. I was an active target. He took care of business and taught shitskins to leave the city.
RIP.
