As an individual you gain no sunlight. As a society you gain sunlight by everyone agreeing to get up earlier, or later. But time is an abstraction that can't change too often but you do need to coordinate regions for economic productivity, like timezones.

look, the point I am making is that NO extra light time is gained

different people have different work-time hours and if they find that the work hours need to be changed, so be it.

the amount of sun in the sky does NOT change
