Worked for State hospital (psych ward) for a bit. There was a client there during my employment that claimed it was 8 feet. He fried his brain on meth/crack/fake chemical weed they sell at gas stations & had to be kept mostly sedated bc he would pick at invisible spiders on his skin all the time.
It is a fact that so many people can not even face, spiders are everywhere.
Ok, go outside when it is dark and shine a flashlight around and look for the small shiny spots you will see. Pick one out and get close. It is spider eye shine. Careful, this is not something the faint of heart should do...
If you look at them close, they will jump on your face.
If you look at them close, they will jump on your face.
Yeah they will. It's bad when they crawl into your sinus cavity.
Definitely. I know it's true. I would venture to say less than 6 feet away. I'm in flood zone / river bottom a lot for work and the spotlight trick is pretty neat. All of the spiders will move from the ground to the top of anything above water and while nice to see all the shimmering from millions of spiders, it can be terrifying to many.
