It won’t happen regardless of who wins. They’re the same thing, two sides of the same coin. That’s why we have endless debate over benign, meaningless shit; it polarizes us and distracts, but the topics are so ridiculous, nothing will ever get done. Cancel oil! End capitalism! Equal rights for transgenders!

It’s also why the needle keeps getting pushed. Once one level of ridiculousness is normalized (gay marriage, womens sufferage, nigger integration), the new battle ground is laid. All the while, more power is consolidated in a smaller group.

My only real question is how will media lie to cover up their electoral rig job and once people figure out that voting is just a waste of time since the outcome is rigged anyway, how will they spin the few million people or so who bother to vote? Just lie about turnouts?

Here's a sad truth:

When politicians really want to change things, they can make it happen in a day.

When things don't get changed, but drag on the same way for months or years, it's because politicians do not really want to change them.
