I think people still wear masks for a couple reasons. The really retarded still think we're in a pandemic, or are stubbornly unwilling to realize they were lied, so they have to stick to their guns or it would shatter their worldview. I think some people just wanna follow the rules. If they see a sign that's says mask up they'll just do it, even though they know better, because they're cowards who find comfort in doing the "right" thing by following the rules. But the saddest class is kids. I see a lot of them putting a mask ob not because they're afraid of Covid, but as a weird sort of way to disconnect from social activity when they're feeling awkward. Those kids that were forced into masking and fear and school over Zoom meetings during lockdown are socially fucked up, and that is really sad to see.
