Good call. I got attacked by one of those. Took 2 friends and 45 minutes to get it off of me. Could probably kill a toddler in 4 or so
I had raised it since about 1.5ft. And yeah, if she was fighting me, I had to have help and patience to get her to stop. I wasn't willing to risk that.
She was on a chicken a month. I got the from a local farmer. who would give me his "rejects" for free and I'd freeze them.
It was a bitch to get her to eat frozen food. Had to warm it up to room temp. The first time the ex wife came to the house, she was like "umm why is there a whole dead chicken, with a heating pad wrapped around it on your counter?"
My wife would check my snake cage when she came over and if it wasn't there she left
A little alcohol on the nose usually gets them to release.
When I lived where we had a pool in the yard for a few years. That would get her off nearly instantly if I jumped in and she was fighting. Learned it on accident by tripping.
