Back in the day, you could get three soda cans, a can opener, some tape, a can punch, a stick, lighter fluid, a tennis ball, a book of matches and have a great time. Then the powers that be decided to taper the tops and bottoms of the cans and that ended the fun.

I would argue that the potato cannon is the ancient predecessor of the Polish cannon that could possibly be built in MineCraft back in the day.
