Fawn we medicated on thursday was dead today, had to shoot a racoon I trapped, found a small buck carcass I had to haul off (coyotes). So much death and no whiskey. Im starting to think my shoulder is a lifelong injury now. Why the fuck didnt I buy some whiskey?

I noticed about two weeks in that certain body aches that I had previously attributed to “just getting older” went away.

I took about a 9 month hiatus from all alcohol.

I drink some today, but very little and especially compared to what I used to do.
