It seems like the number of "Thalidomide: The worst medical disaster EVER" stories has been increasing of late. Part of this is probably just due to smaller creators latching on to trends they see, but how much of it is funded by deeper sources in an attempt to get this back in the public's mind before some other disaster - one that is far worse - happens?
