Yeah, he kept the beat, he is no virtuoso, but he can play. I saw them on the Master of Puppets tour a few times and they were a tight fucking band. That doesn't happen with a shit drummer
I've seen them a couple of times, last time in nineties something early.. never cared much for their live performances..
They're well enough in contact with their audience and delivered nice sets on both occations, but was generally not too true to their original material.. likely due to the heroic intake of 'performance enhancers' though..
