People are desperate for making a quick buck, especially with the recession, and fact that the looming horizon looks like crap for those useless eater positions (looking a you finance). it used to be that people would be somewhat discreet about trying to rip you off. the thing is lately most people around me are not friends, just people trying to rip me off or find ways to take advantage of my compassion to make a buck. and whilst i could string it along, ive noticed that from my side i want absolutely nothing to do with these people. i had one state he was gonna pay something for me, which i thought was nice. i called up the place because there was an issue, and it turns out he let this service go into delinquency, all after bragging about how he was doing so much for me ... the other guy sold me a car for super cheap (90% under its appraisal value) and now wants me to pay him more money so it can get fixed up, all so he can take 80% of the total flip price to himself. like ... why the heck would i sign up for such a horrible deal? essentially, im paying the guy so he can rob me and the thing is i thought these people would be nicer, but it doesnt matter, they are all just thugs, and criminals, with a pretty face. doesn't matter what fancy car, or ideals they have, they all just suck. the only people who seem authentic and normal at this point, who i can point to helping me to become better is my gf, and my brother ...
